Areas of Concentration for the study of the OT in NT: Each student will be selecting one area or sub-area and reporting on it. Start thinking about an area that interests you.
Topics of Study: A listing of some of the topics to be covered. Each student will also be responsible for leading one session presenting preliminary work on a topic/text of their choosing that will be the basis of their final paper.
Technical Needs
- Greek Fonts - You will need to check this out and follow the directions for obtaining the fonts that will be used.
- Adobe Reader - Download - You will need this if you don't already have it. Latest version of Adobe Reader is 6.0.

SCHEDULE

Class meets for each of the scheduled days from 9:00-11:45am and from 1:00-3:45pm in Valentine 310.

AM: Introduction to course and review of Areas of Concentration
PM: What do we mean by Scripture?
Assign Area of Concentration schedule
Introductory Exercises:
Assignment:
- Read the required course books (complete as soon as possible and at least by the end of the week)
- Choose a topic of study upon which you will present and also write your final paper
- Start working on presentation for area of concentration
- Just for fun (i.e., spend no more than 3 minutes trying to solve): Why does Matthew 27.57 indicate that Joseph of Arimathea was "rich" (πλουσιος)?
